At Puppy University, we understand the importance of starting your puppy's grooming journey on the right paw. Our carefully crafted sessions focus on familiarising puppies with the grooming environment, equipment, and processes. By introducing them to the sounds, smells, and sensations associated with grooming, we help reduce anxiety and build their confidence.
Beyond grooming, Puppy University offers vital insights into overall puppy care. Our professional groomer covers essential topics such as diet, exercise, and health monitoring, providing you with the knowledge to keep your puppy healthy and happy. We also focus on puppy safety, teaching you how to effectively handle your pet during grooming and daily care routines. With our guidance, you will learn how to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes your puppy's well-being
What does Puppy University include?
The programme includes three 30-minute introductory sessions, where our experienced groomer uses positive reinforcement techniques to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free. We believe that early exposure to grooming ensures a lifetime of cooperative grooming sessions, making it easier for both you and your pet.
The programme also includes a fourth session putting your puppy's learning into practice. They will get a bath and dry, sanitary areas and pad clip out, light feet and face trim, nail clipping and ear cleaning.
How much does it cost and how does it work?
The cost of our Puppy University including all four sessions is £75 in total.
We ask that the full amount is payed upon time of booking or on the day of your puppy's first session with us.
We ask that all the sessions are booked in weekly, we normally suggest the beginning of the day or towards the end of the day when the salon is more relaxed.
We suggest that you leave your puppy with us for their sessions, this way they can get used to being away from you and won't get too distracted.
